ADSL Broadband

Cobalt Computer Solutions operate and install ADSL Broadband.

Full technical support is readily available, offering instant solutions rather than the customer having to spend hours trying to track down the right person to talk to in a call centre the other side of the world.

Broadband can be fast tracked for an extra charge of £150 and installed in as little as 24 hours. Multiple lines can be used in case of failure and now enhanced care provides a quicker fix in the event of a fault.

Like all the other services offered, the solution is tailored to your business needs depending on if it is used for branch connections, internet traffic or voice calls.

Cobalt have many years experience on how to get the right speed of communication into your business. While the beauty of Devon is its geography, it is also its Achilles heel when it comes down to broadband speeds. Cobalt specialise in finding the solution.

Telephone Systems

Cobalt have followed the hype surrounding VOIP or Voice Over IP (the internet) for many years. Having sat on the sidelines and gained experience in working with these systems we are pleased to offer our own system.

In partnership with Brightpoint, a system of traditional telephony with advanced technology has been developed for customers. As it is based on the computer network, its flexibility and low cost is its major strength.

Feature rich, the system comes with Auto Attendant to answer the call and direct it to the right user by either a known extension or a menu, i.e. press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts etc...

Voice mail for out of office or busy lines can be sent directly to your email, while call recording can either be permanently enabled or on demand. Caller ID displays on-screen details. Phones can be plugged into any computer socket, so often no new cabling is needed.

Offices and homes can be linked over private links via the internet giving free calls between sites and, if all users are busy, the spill-over call facility will automatically re-route the call to a designated alternative location, be it a different branch, extension or home number, to ensure that the call is answered.

For instance, if you call Cobalt's offices, after four rings the call is routed to an extension in France and the MD's home in Exmouth so that the call is dealt with by someone in person as opposed to leaving a voicemail.

Coupled with the computer, email and calendar access offered by the exchange and terminal servers, this phone facility allows employees to remotely access every function that they would normally have to go into the office to perform. It all adds up to the complete business networking package.

Testimonials

'I have been using the Navman Wireless tracking system for almost 12 months. It is an excellent tool with many features other than just tracking. For me based in Exeter it is just a click of the mouse to see all the vehicles based at my Saltash DAF depot. Allocating and coordinating breakdowns from Exeter to all parts of Cornwall could not be easier with Navman Wireless...an excellent and relatively inexpensive system that will shortly be installed into the Exeter fleet'
