“Who would have thought that new phones would set the office of excitement.”
Orange 3G coverage has been very bad in all the areas we visit and travel through over the last few months.
It has been decided that a new contract is needed for all the phones and data cards.
In comes Jim Taylor from Cobalt Communications to the rescue. After looking at all of the options we have decided to go on to Vodafone as the coverage is the best in the areas we need it to be. It works out cheaper but this is not our main desire.
Jim has given us an overall budget to spend on our handsets. So we can all go and choose our own phone. The only must is that is has email and calandars on the go as they are an essential part of the business.
So we are looking at eclairs and donuts and flan's. We know the Google phone or HTC Desire are going to be the best but can we all afford them out of our budget. Is it worth paying the extra as they are a large part of organising the engineers.
The plot thickens and further ideas are needed. Luckily it's all down to Jim to sort.

'I have been using the Navman Wireless tracking system for almost 12 months. It is an excellent tool with many features other than just tracking. For me based in Exeter it is just a click of the mouse to see all the vehicles based at my Saltash DAF depot. Allocating and coordinating breakdowns from Exeter to all parts of Cornwall could not be easier with Navman Wireless...an excellent and relatively inexpensive system that will shortly be installed into the Exeter fleet'
