When New isn't News
“Almost forgot new Website and News Section. Windows 7 and the death of XP Pro.”
Well it's good and bad news. Microsoft have stopped all XP Pro licences to system builders like Cobalt. This means that we simply can't sell it on new PC's. We have stock of secondhand / previously enjoyed PC's if you have old legacy software or needs.
The good news is that Windows 7 is a definite hit. It's fast and quick and hes been very reliable. Feedback from customers new to it has been good and they have found it relativley easy to adapt to.
It has a Windows XP mode in the ultimate version that allows you to run XP within 7. Meaning that you can still run old applications that you have.
Vista was such a small seller for us and we are being slightly forced into Windows 7 but it's overall very positive.
Testimonials
'I have been using the Navman Wireless tracking system for almost 12 months. It is an excellent tool with many features other than just tracking. For me based in Exeter it is just a click of the mouse to see all the vehicles based at my Saltash DAF depot. Allocating and coordinating breakdowns from Exeter to all parts of Cornwall could not be easier with Navman Wireless...an excellent and relatively inexpensive system that will shortly be installed into the Exeter fleet'
