I have known Ian for many years in a professional capacity and have watched Cobalt grow into a strong local player in the world of IT.

I have always found Cobalt to be professional, competitively priced and to deliver the service they boast they can.

Cobalt have been fantastic for Paramount Personnel, we did a cost exercise with various local companies to check we were getting value for money a year or so ago and we were. Cobalt supplies all our equipment, from keyboards to the main server as well as providing us with a whole range of other IT related services.

When asked if I know of any IT suppliers I always recommend Cobalt as I always believe in helping those that help you.

Devon Country Show - 21st, 22nd & 23rd May 2009

I must admit that I was amazed last year how quickly all the equipment and marquees were packed away and the Showground put back in good order. This year, having been blessed with such glorious weather, I am astonished! What can I say? The 114th Show will definitely be one to remember, not because of wind and rain, but because of sunshine, warmth and crowds of smiling people...................

The Devon County Agricultural Association is very proud of the Devon County Show but we never 'sit on our laurels'! I therefore write to extend my heartfelt thanks to you, Dave, Jason and all the Cobalt team for your part in putting on the County Show - and being extremely patient with us. No mean task but every contractor is considered part of our Show team. If you have any comments or suggestions we should consider, please do write to me. I am always open to constructive thoughts and ideas.

I am writing to thank you for your excellent service to our company. The remote back up facility that you provide gives me complete peace of mind, that should my offices be affected by fire, flooding or act of God, my data will be safe.

If one of my computers fails to back up, you notify me. I was totally impressed when one of your engineers arrived in my office on Friday as one of our machines had not backed up for some time.

I am aware that 80% of businesses that suffer some sort of disaster are unable to recover their data and go out of business within three months, your facility will ensure that my business is not one of these.

I would recommend all businesses use your facility for complete peace of mind.

I have been using the Navman Wireless tracking system for almost 12 months. It is an excellent tool with many features other than just tracking. For me based in Exeter it is just a click of the mouse to see all the vehicles based at my Saltash DAF depot. Allocating and coordinating breakdowns from Exeter to all parts of Cornwall could not be easier with Navman Wireless....an excellent and relatively inexpensive system that will shortly be installed into the Exeter fleet"

It is with some nervousness that I write this letter to you. It was about two years ago that you suggested that we upgrade our server and associated software for our small network of 6 workstations. I didn't really appreciate that what we had before wasn't working effectively. We had a really nice independent guy called John looking after our kit and he really seemed to know what he was talking about. What's more he responded very quickly every time we needed him,... and frankly, his hourly rate was considerably less than yours. He was a nice guy too and we enjoyed seeing him when he came, and he came quite often.

Two years on we don't really see that much of you and your company unless we want to change something,..... and we don't see anything of John either.

"Our system doesn't fail, it works much faster than before and we never seem to have problems with viruses and spam because of that thingymajig software stuff you also persuaded me to have."

When I sit back and think about what you've done for us I realise it's much better to pay a bit more..... as it costs a heck of a lot less. A good computer business like yours is kind of like when you have a quality hooker as part of your starting fifteen, you don't really appreciate when a good one is there, you certainly know when they're not. You probably won't appreciate that analogy as you've never had the bottle to experience the front row, but you certainly know a thing or two about computers.

Why am I nervous? Cause you know you're good and I'm scared this letter will send your ego into overdrive. Nevertheless quality workmanship deserves a good shout. Thanks for all you do for us, we'd never be without you guys. (That's not an excuse to put your prices up!!)
